I had this amazing chat with Courtney about her four-year-old Oldenburg mare, Frida, and it’s one of those stories that really stays with you. In the early days after Frida came home, Courtney felt something wasn’t quite right.

Frida had passed her pre-purchase exam, yet Courtney’s instincts told her to keep looking for answers. Over time, she learned that Frida was dealing with serious neck issues. That discovery led to an emotional journey of vet visits, tough choices, and eventually multiple surgeries to help Frida breathe and live comfortably again.
